Looking to improve the impact that the third teacher has on your teaching and learning? We are pleased to offer a simple resource that provides you with structure for an audit of your classroom spaces.
We developed this audit to use with a team of teachers who were interested in improving their use of their physical learning environments. All members of the team (ten in total) agreed to walk through each other’s classrooms and use one of the three lenses to analyze the spaces: either looking at structure, aesthetics or pedagogy. Feedback was provided anonymously (but it needed to be specific, helpful and kind) and the data was used to shift our thinking and assumptions on how spaces are being used.
If you are interested in a collaborative approach to challenging your learning space status quo, look no further than this freely shared resource!
